Our Commitment

SLGSAANA-SE was established in 2007 to complement the other worlwide branches in recognizing the crucial need to support our alma mater. Currently we have five major branches: Freetown, Sierra Leone; United Kingdom (UK), Washington DC, Southeast and California.

Our organization provides much needed financial support to the school in the form of equipment, supplies and tuition assistance to students in the form of schlorships. We work closely with the school in prioritizing projects we undertake.

President's Message

The SLGSAANA-SE is keenly aware of the enormous responsibility it has undertaken to assist with the management of the Sierra Leone Grammar School. It is with this sense of commitment that i wish to express our deep appreciation for your support of endeavors so we can continue to produce the caliber of graduates who will be able to contribute hugely in all levels of leadership as their predecessors have done.

Like their predecessors, our current students continue the rich legacy of posting very impressive results in high stakes testing such as the (BECE) and West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASCE).

All Regentonians and other supporters of our noble institution of learning wholeheartedly congratulate the outstanding faculty, staff, students and parents as they continue to strive with things impossible to make the Sierra Leone Grammar School second to none.

Our Organization is 501(c) (3) certified, and your donations are tax deductible under section 170 of the IRS code

Strategic Plan For SLGS

STRATEGIC PLAN FOR THE SIERRA LEONE GRAMMAR SCHOOL – FIRST MEETING – SATURDAY 13TH FEBRUARY 2010

The Proprietor, Interim Board of Governors and Old Boys Union of the Sierra Leone Grammar School have decided to hold the first meeting for the formulation of a Strategic Plan for the school on SATURDAY, 13TH FEBRUARY 2010 FROM 10: A.M. ONWARDS.

In 2000, we issued “VISION 2010” and in 2005, a Conference was held to discuss various aspects of the school’s future development. Similar discussions took place among Regentonians in the diaspora. All these occurred whilst plans were being made for the CHANGE OF STATUS which was achieved in September 2007. Having operated in the new situation for two years and, with a consideration of major developments in the future, there is no doubt about the need for a WRITTEN STRATEGIC PLAN that will guide the school for the next decade or so. » Read More...
